This picture is of Iris having breakfast with her Hello Kitty necklas as headdecoration and her mouth well covered in Yougurt.
We went to our friend Mike and Lenes place downtown Copenhagen to celebrate new year eve. Besides me having the opportunity to see several of my very good old friends, the kids also have kids the same age to play with.
I got us equipped with hats - Marco took it well - but I also got a more "conservative" hat for him.
All the different people invited have eached prepared a course. We were resonsible for Dessert so with many good icecreams and a couple of good cakes we made our way there.
My dad was so kind both to bring us and pick us up, else we wouldn't be ablet o afford goint there (parking is soo Expensive and forget the taxi rates!)
Iris took ownership of the bike. Nothing can be pink without her thinking it belongs to her.
Here I am with one of my best friend Anne.
After the kids had finished eating and the grownups just started, some peace needed to be established. A good cartoon helped on that.
Here we are... enjoying the good food and good comapany.
Kids enjoyed the "Pre-firework" that took place just outside our windowns downtown Copenhagen. That is the benefit of living on the 5th floor I believe.
Then we started to get kids in bed, and surpricingly was Alessandro and Iris okay with sleeping a different place. Iris however woke up a couple of times and needed reasurrence that we where still there.
So the party continued until 04.00 in the morning. We enjoyed Mikes german tradition of heating leed and drop it into water for thereafter examine it to find a clue to our future. Mine surely indicated that the Earth soon will be visited by Alians.
The boardgame Mona and Andrew brough along was also very funny, and we now know we have some very crazy friends! - Well we knew that but know it is confirmed.
Thank you to Mike and Lene for hosting the party.
