The day to day started really bad. We were running late for the kindergarten so after having hurried the kids to the car and got them strapped in I found that the battery of the car was empty. And no neighbors in sight to and from their cars. On an normal day this is of course irritation but today I had a tight schedule of doctor appointments this morning.
While running towards the kindergarten I found that I didn't have the doctors phonenumber on my cellphone, so it was not possible to call and give a notice. I simply just not like to stay away from an appointment without letting people know.
Arriving at the kindergarten Alessandro had to eat his breakfast in the hallway outside the dinning room since its not allowed to bring kids while there is breakfast. Both he and Iris was playing instead so it was not possible to get him to eat. Grrrr.
Then the other kids was finally finished with their breakfast and another mom also arrived with her kid. And now the good part starts.
I explained the problem with the battery and asked if anybody knew who I could call locally for help. Nobody had a decent clue. But instead one of the teachers there (one I kind of dislike) said she had cables in her car and she convinced the other mom to come by my place with her car.
Arriving back at my car I strapped Iris in the car again and opened the front of the car. A man arrived to ask if I needed help. I explained that somebody were coming to help me out. And at the same moment indeed the other mom arrived. Seeing two women dealing with car problems made the man stay and instructing us (I know how to do it but I appreciated that he wanted to help anyway). And with in a 1 second my car was back alive again. Thanks to 2-3 help-some persons.
Knowing that I had missed the first doc appointment for the day I had time to take a longer route to the next doc just to make sure my cars battery would be loaded. I felt great when I was there 5 mins before time.
Well I was not. Apparently I had mixed up the first two appointments and where 1 hour late for the one I was doing. But they where large and let me and Iris in anyway. That meant that the other doc was waiting for me at the same time (the one I didn't have a phonenumber for). Grrrrr.
I speeded my way to the second doctor as soon as we were finished. I was almost 40 mins late. I was not sure if they would take me anyway, but a nice lady just said no problems and a few minutes later I was with the doc.
Actually I ended up being out there so fast that I had more then plenty of time to drive to the next and final appointment. So on the way there I not only managed to do my shopping but also a short (recept pick-up) by a fourth doc.
So what started out with problems gave me the opportunity to get to know some people better (for their good side) and to do a lot more then scheduled. All before lunch!
