Camping - vacation in Denmark -July 27th 2011

 We camped with Bedstefars homecar in Jylland.

And there was room enough for both us 4 and Bedstefar to sleep there.

 We were afraid of having the kids upstairs, and since they still need maintenance during the night Marco and I was not really happy about having to up there also.
So Bedstefar volountered to sleep there one night. It was not really a good idea, so the next night we camped outside Bedstefars, aunt Lauras house and he slept in her guestroom instead.

 We moved the carseats to the camper so the kids could be secured while we were travalling. They didn't really appreciate it though...

 Here is Bedstefars aunt Laura with us on a picknick close to her former home (Bakkegaarden).

 This is Lerup Kirke at Per Baksvej. Bedstefar was baptised here, and his grandparents and greatgrandparents are buried here.

Per Bak was the grandfather of Bedstefar, and Bedstefar is named after him Peer Bach (The extra "e"was a mistake done by the priest who baptised my dad. "Bach" is the name Per Bak took for his family  as their last name, because "Bak"was just a name they were called by.
Bak means hill, and the farm the family still has is called Bakkegaarden, meaning the Farm on the hill.

Here is a picture of the entrance to Fosdalen, which is just next to the church and touch the fields and forest belonging to the family farm.


We were walking in Fosdalen with the kids, while Bedstfar and Laura took a nape. It was a nice walk and the nature is fantastic. All the pictures from the walk is on Marcos Iphone. Maybe I will share with you later when I get access to them.

We would have liked to visit Bedstemor Vinni while where were in the area but she was unfortunately to busy. So instead we took Bedstefar and Laura with us and went to the nice nature called "Vejlerne".

 Vejlerne is a area where a dam have seperated it from Limfjorden and made pieces of dry land in between. The animals, especially the birds a having a great life here.

 Here we at a hut made for animal observation. there was binouculars for us to use to see the animals up close. Alessandro loved it eventhough most of the time he used them to watch the flies upclose.
