March 12 - Refugees

  

No, its not carbage and we are not moving. Its me wanting to clean the floor in the groundfloor really well. So everything moveable was moved outside. Including husbond and kids. Well first Alessandro took a nape (Iris really do not like to sleep - neither day nor night).

So the toys had to be used outside. Look at this little poor girl.

But she becase happier when Papa wanted to play with her.

Finally Alessandro woke up, and a ball was found.

And then they could play with it together. And they really like to paly with each other. Its such a blessing.

After along time spend in the garden they where finally allowed back in the livingroom.
Iris new couch (Late birthdaypresent) was taken in use in front of tv.

Carneval - 7&8 March

This is Iris first carneval and Alesandros second.

It was hard to find costums that both would fit them and I though they might like. Iris became a little frog-princess, in a costume where crawling fits it. Though se liked the look of herself she didn't appreciate to wear something on her head.

It was really hard to find something for Alessandro. Finally I found a store that still have something left en his size. I could choose between a Bee- or a Cow costume. Since Alessandro love cows I went with it. On the first day he had to wear it he was not really happy about it, but it helpd that Papa used time to paint him in the face.
When he came to the kindergarten he also got more confident when seing that not just he looked a little funny that day. He even managed to give a couple of Muh's before I took of.

New shoes for Iris. Aren't the just cute!?

We only had two pairs to choose from because the little mouse only is using size 18. But I'm content with the result.

Iris 1 year - Kindergarten - 14th of February

Iris 1 year birthday was a Monday. Since we already had celebrated it twice we didn't do anything special that day.

Well actually that is not true. It was my last day of motherleave so I had asked Marco to take a day of and he and I finally did some work in the basement - but that is another story.

The only thing special for the kids this day was that both mamma and papa brought them to Kindergarden and picked them up again.

And then for Iris - she had mamma's banana muffins with her to the the kindergarten so they could celebrate her in the group.

Papa had his camera with him when we came to pick them up. And that its the only pictures we took on her actual birthday - sorry Iris.

When we opened the door to the kindergarten we saw Iris had climbed a chair .


And then she sees us.


Also Alessandro is happy to see us.

Mamma is packing down the cake-tray and in the background you see the birthday ballon the kindergarten had given to Iris.

Children birthday party for Iris - Saturday the 12th

This is Iris second -1 year Birthday party.
This time is was a Childrens birthday party.

We had invited a couple of friends of hers (Ann-Sophie and Daisy) and their parents to come and celebrate with us.

Visit from Bedstefar and Christina 7th Februar - Thermal pools

Monday we went to the Seedamm -Thermal bath in Bad Homburg.

We started out in the kids corner.
Iris just loves water.


Alessandro is in for a waterfight with everybody.




Then we went to the whirlpool (we took pictures while the pool was not bubbling -else we wouldn't have been able to see who is who on the pictures because those bubbles where really big!

We went to a little German resturant afterwards. Iris still had some energy left as you can see.


As dessert we had a nice flammenkuchen with Nutella and Banana on top.
