A new Journal - A new Blog

Google allows a lot of space...but they want to decide what we should use it for. So even though I only use a fraction of my gmail space I'm not allowed to use this on the blog.

So instead I have created a new email and a new blog. The email will only be used for the blog, so no need for you to add it to your address books.

But do visit our new blog at :http://famfrittajon.blogspot.de/

Maybe a change will come to our blog

Suddenly Google will like to get a lot of money for us posting pictures, so I'm considering what other options we have. Maybe we will move our blog. I will keep you posted on this site so you know where to move if we change address.

Alessandro 4 years Birthday - part 1 - 2012

This part is honest part two but I'm waiting for a transfer of the pictures from part one so here you get them in the wrong chronological order. The real part one is with his Nonna and Nonno visiting the weekend before his birthday.

The 3 first pictures is actually from that day where nonno and nonna was here

The 2 birthday cake's for the kindergarten was not really fantastic to look at but I was told the tasted wonderful. They was accompanied with some lemonade and plates, tissues and cups in Pirate theme.

Pinewood Derby - 29. September 2012

The Stake had invited to a Pinewood Derby and Marco had claimed to have a car for him and each of the kids. I didnt have aneed for a car.

We carved them out the week before the derby (while Bedstefar was visiting). I worked on Iris car and made the basic shape's of what should have been Alessandro's car. Marco refined to a much better look after adding a spoiler (see yellow car later). However Ale decided that he liked the 3rd car better, which Marco had carved for himself.

Here you see Ale with the red car and Iris with her "Hello Kitty" car. I was surprised I actually managed to get a decent looking car produced.
There was many nice cars of high quality in the game. But my favorite was the Fred Flintstone.
Here is Axel. He was the commentator through out the whole game (about 65-6 hours).
He did a good job. His wife Ruth was hidden some where while counting the votes each car had got. There was a grown-up and a kids category and each had a best looking car category and a most creative category. I think Iris car should have one (honestly)...but it just happens that I know Ruth from work and she knows that I did most of work, so I guess we got disqualified without being told. I would say most of the kids got a lot of help not to mention her own son... that won the  one of the prices..but we let this issue come to rest here.

Ale was not really so much into all of it on to the end ... which was after his own car had been racing.
Here you see our Kitty Car ready to go. Each car had 4 races (one in each lane)
Here is the red lightning car losing ground to the other cars. Out cars lost big time. Probably because we had not smired the tires with anything. Next year we know better.
Here is our last car. The yellow sports car. Looks good!
Iris is playing on dads Iphone while i looks at the game.
At home the kids had to play with the cars again. They love them. But I had to attach a lego-man to Ale's red car because he was a little jealous of Iris Kitty.

Bedstefar - 21-24 September 2012

Bedstefar visited us with an old friend/colleague (Else) of him. We appreciate that she kept him company on the long journey. Without he had not taken the tour.

Iris took a lot of "photo's" with her pretended camera and bonded well with Else and Bedstefar.
Alessandro was Bedstefar's boy. They had a great time together. Here he helps with the shoes.
We did a little sightseeing. Here the castle in Weilburg.

I have photo-models as kids. They love the camera.

Here a rest on a bench watching some people playing a ballgame.

Iris like's to be on tour. Especially when the stroller comes along.
Alessandro and Bedstefar are playing memory. Ale makes up new rules as it comes along and he assist Bedstefar if he does not find the match fast enough.

Thank you for a wonderful visit.

August & September 2012

Royal attitude. Yes we have a princes.
And a handywomen. She is fixing the Barbies leg that came off. Apparently a hammer is the tool to use.
 Summer fest in Alessandro's kindergarten

Iris have several times seen Ale playing with the MC helm and gloves...but she never wanted to try. This time she insisted on trying and she was very proud of seeing herself in the mirror.
Marco made a photoshooting with Iris one day. Many, many, many nice pictures came out of it. Here are some of them.

Going to the Kur park. Iris is driving the 3-wheeler but insisted to have her baby doll with her.
Ale wanted to wear one of Iris necklaces so here he is in pink.

He is full of energy and have turned back to a general happy boy.
Home in the garden the kids are washing their playthings.

Each with a tail. Then it is easier to play dog.

We got bikes for us grown-ups this fall. First flat tired around after only a few days. Here Marco try to fix the problem himself.

Vacation - At the beach - August 2012

The second week of vacation we spend in Lido di Jesolo. We shared an apartment with Marcos family. Actually it was two connecting apartments. Just in the very end of the lido towards the light towever. Good beach, good weather and not to many sales people on the beach.

Friends hanging out one evening (Iris and her cousin Angelica)

Alessandro as balloon warrior
Iris likes to hang out with the big girls (cousin Camilla and zia Chiara ) in the trenino.
Nonna and Ninni on the beach, with Emanuelle
 Iris enjoys the sand

No matter how serious we look...we enjoyed the beach.

Alessandro likes more the water
 The 3 Sea monsters

The kids had a very good time. Some days there was big waves other days there was small waves. Ale loved both  but Iris only liked the calm sea.

Relaxing in the couch with 2 Ipads. Techno-kids.
