Biking and Playing - March 2012

 We got Ale a used bike. One of these without pedals but were you have to run.

So Iris took over the 3 wheeler that Ale didn't like anyway.








He likes it, and look very cool on it.

It was a cool day thats why we added covers for the head under the helmets. It dosn't look good but it works fine.

 Iris is a happy padler as long as we push at the same time. Ale hardly ever padled so now we give the biking a new try with a new form of bike.

 Checking for cars.

 Faster and faster it goes, he really gives it a try. Soon we can bring the saddle further up so he can run on his toes as intended. But first he need a little more balance.

 Iris haven't got the idea that she is the one in charge of the direction, so we correct many times on the way to the playground.

 The swing is always a hit.

 Hey, actually I'm really good at it.

 Keeping balance. Alessandro loves to use his body and test it in all kinds of ways.

 When Ale can, Iris can (at least sometimes).

 Hmm there is a little further down then she calculated.

 I'm trying to teach Alessandro the trick of using the legs to make the swing higher. He really didn't appreciate the teaching.

 But he is still a beautiful boy. MY BOY!

Carneval Princess - February 2012

 We didn't get any pictures of the kids in their carneval costumes this year.

Alessandro went as a Lion and Iris as a Princess.

But I got these pictures of Iris a few evenings before when she tried her dress so I could sew the seams to fit her hight.

 She really is a princess

 She knows how to move like a princess and she has the right attitude for a princess.

Children Birthsday party - February 18th 2012

 We had invited some friends to come and celebrate Iris.

Marco made his first cake (at least in the time I have known him), and it tasted very good. Look at how nice he decorated the cheesecake!

 This is my cake. I managed to plant 2 candels in the delicious chocolate cake :)

 Here Iris shows Ann-Sophie how to play with the trains.

 Aren't she just adorable!!! Don't pay attention to Alessandro crying in the background. It is like sometimes he just need to cry.

 Iris best friend Emma from Kindergarten, her sister Charlotte, whom Ale used to play very well with when they were in the same group together and their mother also came to the celebrate Iris.

 Iris takes a look at all the goodies on the table,

 Here is Ann-Sophie with her mother Dagmar.

We are not jalous at all that Ann-Sophie talks very well and that neither of mine can say half as much.

 Everybody look here. I found Chocolate on the table.

 Mmhh.

 Iris managed to blow the "snable".

 Alessandro is a master in blowing. I wish he was just as good with blowing his nose.

More necklaces. Iris loves to decorated with jewelles.

 Our friends Ritta and Holger also came with their kids Felix and Lilly.

 Dagmar brough a gift for Alessandro as well.

 So many necklaces that their is more then enough to be used for headecoration as well.
(Have you noticed the Hello Kitty motive on the necklace.... Iris loves it!)
